A new system called FIFA PASS is being introduced by U.S. authorities to give 2026 World Cup ticket holders priority access to visa interview appointments. This initiative is designed for fans who’ve secured tickets to matches in U.S. host cities, helping them speed up their visa application process.
FIFA PASS is scheduled to launch in early 2026. While it offers faster access to interview dates, it does not guarantee visa approval — all applicants will still undergo standard screening and eligibility checks.
This development comes as part of a coordinated effort between FIFA and U.S. officials to welcome the massive influx of international supporters expected for the tournament. With 11 U.S. host cities and a surge in anticipated travel, additional consular officers are being deployed globally to support visa processing.
Authorities highlight that although appointments will be prioritised for ticket holders, full security and vetting procedures remain unchanged.
